To create the library, Sonomar’s Martin Pinsonnault (CODA, Dallas Buyers Club) gathered an extensive collection of bells, including handbells of various sizes, jingling sleigh bells, counter-top call bells, electric fire bells, and hefty ship’s bells. The varied handbell selection includes specimens made of metal, porcelain, glass, and even clay, each with their own unique tonal signature. In addition to single hits and continuous ringing at different speeds and intensities, the library includes a variety of techniques including short chokes, clapper and handle sounds, doppler-like movement effects, and random performances. With everything recorded at 192 kHz for ultra-high resolution, you’re free to experiment with extreme time stretching and pitch manipulation without unwanted artifacts.

Each sound file is embedded with rich, UCS-standardized metadata to help you find the exact sound effect you need with fast, pinpoint search.
